“When I’m designing a booth for an art fair, it’s really no different than creating an installation in any other space, like a gallery or a museum. I start with the size there is to work with and then I immediately go to where the viewer enters first. That’s the most important place. What’s the first thing they will see, how will they approach it, what’s the flow of traffic? For Pulse Fair in 2015 I wanted to create a space that was symmetrical and welcoming. I wanted to invite each viewer to come in, sit down and do their thing. Meditate, play, chat... whatever they wanted, they had the space to do.”
